No matter where you are in the world, join a community of movers and sounders. Join online courses live, or follow along with the recordings at your own pace.

1:1 voice lessons
We will adopt a holistic approach that addresses voice, mind, and body, to expand your awareness, and build your toolbox for living and sounding with more ease and expression.
Do you want to sing with greater ease and freedom in your voice? Are you interested in living more joyfully in your body, rather than struggling against it? The body is the singer’s instrument! By learning to sing, you can feel better in your body – and by exploring your relationship with movement, you can improve your singing.
If you’re curious to learn more about how your body organises to create sound, what might be getting in your way, and what you can do to start unwinding unhelpful habits, then get in touch.
“Kate showed me how through the process of embodiment, I could access elements of my voice I never even knew I had, and regain access to the parts of my voice I thought I had lost” — Lydia

I now lead a variety of one-off and regular workshops in London and Lisbon. Please check the offerings page to learn about upcoming opportunities to get involved.

Creative Art
As a singer, improviser and composer, I use The Embodied Voice in my own research and artistic practice. I write music that is inspired by the movements of the body, and perform in various contexts that involve movement, voice, and improvisation. I also facilitate creative projects in which I collaborate with people and communities to compose and create using voice and movement.
Previous projects include:
THAT! Ensemble (Barbican, TATE Modern)
Whitechapel Gallery, Voices That Matter
